Following the events of The Batman (2022), Oz Cobb, aka The Penguin, attempts to take over Gotham’s criminal underworld. Aside from the bat-call in the final scene of the season finale, we never got our Robert Pattinson cameo in The Penguin. Colin Farrell fought tooth and nail to get his version of The Penguin to smoke tobacco in The Batman (2022), but was unsuccessful.

However, in his own series, the character is portrayed as an occasional tobacco user, preferring cigars. The umbrella falls and the logo changes to the Warner Bros. logo.

I’ve been waiting for The Penguin ever since it was announced as a series, and I can say that it’s exactly as good as I expected. He excelled in The Batman and is even better in the lead role.
Plus, Cristin Milioti is just as good as Sofia Falcone
The two fight to see who is Gotham’s number one mobster and “bring order to all the chaos.” Some people were worried that a supporting character like The Penguin wouldn’t carry the show and wouldn’t work without Batman or Bruce Wayne, but don’t worry because he’s more than just a villain in a superhero show, he’s a great crime drama in his own right. This is a dark and gritty crime drama that’s a lot of fun to watch as it unfolds. I hope we hear more stories like this from this world.
