It tells the story of three very different families who compete to buy the same 1920s Spanish-style villa. They think it will solve all their problems. Both Dennis Leary and Ray Romano appeared in the Ice Age franchise (2002-present). It’s surprising to see the show underrated, but after seeing so many reviews, it explains why they didn’t come back after the first episode. The show is a slow-burn mystery romp that may not be for everyone. I personally find it hilarious and entertaining with a special touch from Liz Feldman. I really like the cast and everyone’s performances. I wasn’t initially sold on Ray Romano due to my own biases (having been unable to separate him from Everybody Loves Raymond for the rest of my life), but that quickly faded. All the different characters have their own subplots and it creates a tangled web that gradually, if not completely, unravels. Despite the major plot twist being set up so quickly, I was pretty invested in the story by the last episode. I’m not mad about it though. I’d love to see more from this show and really hope they get a second season. No need to waste time scrolling endlessly – here’s the full lineup of new movies and TV shows streaming on Netflix this month.
